Advanced Capital, manager of Private Equity Funds based in Milan, has appointed Franco Bassanini Senior Advisor of the Sgr.
Robert H. Berlè, Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Capital, stated “In recent years the Italian market has become increasingly central and strategic for Advanced Capital as it is a country with high growth potential in the Private Equity industry in which we operate. Therefore, Bassanini's appointment will also be functional in seizing new investment opportunities, making use of authoritative professionals with diversified experience."
Bassanini, full professor of constitutional law, currently holds the positions of Special Advisor to the Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and President of the ASTRID Foundation, a think tank specialized in research and studies on institutional reforms, public policies, European institutions, public finance and -government. Franco Bassanini was also Minister of Public Administration from 1996 to 2001 and from November 2008 to July 2015, he held the position of Chairman of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
