The shareholders' meeting approved the appointment of Frances Portincasa as director general of the AQP, following up on the designation established by resolution of the regional council. Portincasa will have the task of accompanying the company in the digital sustainable transformation process, as well as providing a new impetus to investments, with particular attention to Pnrr funds.

Graduated in biology, since 2019 Portincasa has held the role of industrial coordinator of Acquedotto Pugliese for the definition and planning of the company's technical-operative lines. Since 2016 you have also held the position of network and plant director of AQP. You are a member of commissions and working groups of national and international bodies in the integrated water service sector.

Among the themes that have characterized his commitment - reads a note - are the research for the reuse of the resource for agricultural and civil purposes through the implementation of a development plan for purifiers; there digitization and the development of remote control and remote control systems for networks. Among other activities, Portincasa launched the ten-year plan to replace the so-called digital smart meters throughout the area served and coordinated the development of new digital communication tools with citizens and communities.

Furthermore, the new director is part of the Community Innovation Manager hub, a space intended for studying and promoting the evolution of organizational models, and a few days ago she was awarded the title of "Innovation Manager".
