A2a sells the management of the integrated water cycle of Bergamo to Uniacque for 23,5 million euro

The sale takes place as part of the process of awarding the integrated water service and the management of the infrastructures and networks dedicated to it by the Bergamo ATO to the company Uniacque SpA, as it is an entirely public company, according to the in-house model.

A2a defines an operation that allows it to raise cash. The multi-utility sold Bas Sii, a company that manages the water cycle in Bergamo and its province, to Uniacque. The deal was concluded on the basis of 23,5 million euros after the distribution of reserves for approximately 2,7 million euros. Bas, which manages the integrated water cycle in the municipality of Bergamo and in over 30 municipalities in the province, achieved revenues of around 2010 million euro in 22.

The transfer takes place as part of the process of awarding the integrated water service and the management of the infrastructures and networks dedicated to it by the Bergamo ATO to the company Uniacque SpA, as a wholly public company, according to the "in house" model following the resolutions of the Bergamo ATO Conference. The transaction will be finalized by 31 December and was made possible thanks to the financial support provided to Uniacque by a pool of banks made up of Centrobanca, Creberg and Mediocreval who have equally shared a medium/long-term loan of 23,5 million.
