The first digital edition of the SAVE 2021 Virtual Tour, an initiative on environmental and economic sustainability, dedicated to students of all levels.
The project was born from an idea of Savings Museum of Turin by Intesa Sanpaolo and was created in collaboration with the EIB Institute. The launch is scheduled at 18:00 on January 19 with the digital event #SAVEsCOOL. An interactive and free live streaming in which three web stars will also participate, Riccardo Aldighieri, Marcello Ascani and Eleonora Olivieri.
“The three creators, who have millions of followers on their social networks, will turn into “sustainability influencers” with the aim of making young people aware of the issues of the circular economy, money management and social inclusion, using a language close to that of their peers”; Intesa explains in a note.
Students and teachers who will participate in the initiative will have access to materials, laboratories and gaming apps that will allow them to explore these topics in depth and to interact and discuss issues related to sustainability. There are also free courses and workshops on the scarcity of natural or economic resources, on the fight against waste.
The teachers of Teach for Italy they will immediately start with the didactic activity, delivering the contents of the project to 20 classes on the Italian territory. The project will be available to all teachers who they will sign up.

For this reason Intesa Sanpaolo - through the Museum of Savings - has undertaken to build a project that, speaking to young people, with their language, would help them embrace the cause of all-round sustainability. Sustainability that, increasingly, must include people and communities on the margins of society. We are convinced that the conscious use of money and the right attention to waste are two essential elements for becoming active citizens, capable of building a better tomorrow for everyone”.
