A financial operation was implemented by Bpm bank e Unicredit, with the support of Sace, to give a decisive push to the modernization of ports di Naples e Salerno. The objective is clear: to improve maritime infrastructure and make it more sustainable. Leading this transformation is Rcm Constructions Ltd., a Salerno company of the Rainone Group, which, with the support of Bpm, Unicredit and Sace, is committed to carrying out crucial projects for the port sector.

Maritime infrastructure with investments of 220 million

These interventions fall within the scope of a framework agreement for the procurement of works relating to infrastructure maritime, with Rcm Costruzioni designated as the sole executor, upon appointment of the Consorzio Stabile Grandi Lavori, of which the Salerno company is the main promoter and relative majority shareholder.

To speed up the start of the works, Rcm Costruzioni benefited from a contractual advance obtained through a Advance Payment Bond worth 36 million euros, issued by Banco Bpm and Unicredit in favor of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea System Port Authority.

Furthermore, Sace provided a guarantee as part of the Strategic Relief operations to stimulate the start of the production and employment processes linked to the projects of the Pnrr. Among the details of the contract, with a total value of approximately 220 million euro, includes extension and reinforcement works for the Duca d'Aosta Dam in Naples and the completion of the eastern dock in the port of Naples, as well as the consolidation and functional adaptation of the Ponente pier, the 3 January Pier and the Manfredi Pier in the port of Salerno.
