Anna Gervasoni is the new rector of Liuc – Cattaneo University

The Board of Directors of the Liuc – Cattaneo University ha Anna Gervasoni was unanimously nominated including new rector, a position he will assume from November 1st. With his appointment, the women at the helm of Lombardy universities become six: Maria Grazia Brambilla at the Statale, Donatella Sciuto at the Polytechnic, Elena Beccalli at the Cattolica, Maria Pierro at Insubria and Giovanna Iannantuoni at Biccocca (and at the helm of the Crui).

Anna Gervasoni he will continue the work of his predecessor Federico Visconti, focusing on the renewal of master's degree courses with a more experiential approach linked to the world of work, the obtaining of international Aacsb and Efmd accreditations, and the launch of a laboratory to enhance research in Economics and Engineering in collaboration with businesses.

The LIUC, which includes the School of Economics, the School of Engineering, the Business School and the doctoral program, is facing the challenge of the new Mill project (Manufacturing, Innovation, Learning, Logistics) promoted by Confindustria Varese. Anna Gervasoni's CV

Anna Gervasoni is full professor of Economics and Business Management, with a career focused on innovative finance. He began his academic career at Bocconi University, focusing on venture capital and infrastructure finance. Since 1997 he has been at general management of Aifi, the association of private equity, venture capital and private debt funds. He is part of the Boards of Directors of several listed companies, including Banca Mediolanum, LU-VE and SOL.

Gervasoni is present at LIUC since its foundation in 1991, contributing to the start-up of the university and promoting a university close to the business world and with international ambitions. Recently, as the Rector's delegate for Internationalisation, you have been committed to consolidating this strategy.
