In many areas, temperatures will remain around or just below 30 degrees Celsius, but inland areas and on the major islands, temperatures will likely reach higher peaks, reaching 33-34 degrees Celsius in areas most exposed to rising warm air.

Warmth continues to dominate even after the weekend

However, this trend is yet to be confirmed.

After this interlude, the heat could intensify further. From June 17-18, a new push from African high pressure could favor an even hotter and more persistent phase, with temperatures rising further and conditions typical of midsummer.
