oGreat interest of German buyers and consumers for i Piacenza PDO cured meats from Salumificio Pèveri Charles to Internorga fair in Hamburgor dedicated above all to the Horeca channel and away from home, but also to retail.

In the stand of the Italian Pavilion of Internorga the operators lined up for the tasting of the line of aromatic cured meats "The Peverish", both the "fresh" version to be boiled or grilled, according to the German taste, and the seasoned one to be cut with a knife: Tartùfino with fresh truffle pieces; Fennel sausage with whole fennel seeds; Pepper Sausage with whole Tellicherry pepper; Pepper Sausage with wholemeal pepper.

During the four days of the Hamburg fair, many questions and tastings of the whole wide range of Peveri ranging from Coppa Piacentina Dop to Pancetta Piacentina Dop; from Salame Piacentino Dop; to salami from La Mandola ham; from the culatta di Don Romualdo ham to the Pate di Lardo with Lean Black Pig of Parma and others.

Two of the products on display were awarded with the 3 stars Award of Bellavita Internorga: Ars Creandi Almond and Cooked Sausage.

They are products that are correctly perceived in Italy, and gradually also abroad, such as excellent, handcrafted products and of high quality. It is no coincidence that the "Guide I Salumi d'Italia 2019" has included Pancetta Piacentina DOP di Peveri among the 44 best cured meats in Italy with this motivation: “A rosy bacon with marble fat, melting and delicate on the palate, it retains a sweet and enveloping aftertaste, well balanced and with a tasty touch”. In recent days, Peveri's Piacenza cured meats have permanently entered the offer of the Shop Bellavita in London, a well-known meeting point for foodies in the center of the English capital. The shop is managed by the Bellavita exhibition fair, which promotes Italian food and beverage abroad in ten cities, in which the capital also includes Cibus and Vinitaly.
