ZTE, the global provider of telecommunications equipment, has announced the launch of a strategic partnership with Wind Tre, for the consolidation and modernization of current mobile networks. The agreement is also aimed at creating the Golden Network which will allow the operator to provide innovative services to consumer and business customers.
The start of the partnership is a very important milestone for ZTE, which has been present in Italy for ten years with offices in Rome, Milan and Turin.
“We want Italy to become our European hub – continued Xiao Ming – and for this reason we wish to invest considerably in the country to create a research center capable of further developing our technologies. Our growth plan also envisages the short-term increase in ZTE employees, creating thousands of new jobs, increasing the skills of our technicians and expanding the number of people engaged in related industries”.
ZTE, in cooperation with Wind Tre, will establish a new innovation center in Italy for the development of 5G networks and the improvement of customer user experience through new digital technologies. The partnership between ZTE and Wind Tre will help reduce the digital divide, strengthening Italy's leadership role in the European technological landscape.
