Well, it seems that soon the desire expressed by millions of users around the world could come through a release that will allow users to delete an already sent message.
This was supported on Twitter by the @WABetaInfo profile, according to which, in build 2.17.1.869 of the beta client for iOS, the "revoke" function is enabled, with which WhatsApp users can cancel a sent message even if it has already been read by the recipient . However, there would be a time limit: after 24 hours it will no longer be possible to intervene.
