An arctic-continental flow invaded Italy making temperatures plummet below average, with values that will even drop below zero, sometimes accompanied by robust bora, north and north winds with snow in the Apennines up to hilly altitudes. In the North-East and central regions there will be rain and showers, but of modest intensity. Teeth will also be chattering in the Center with values around zero in Florence, Rome and L'Aquila. In the South, maximum temperatures could persist below the seasonal average, while in the rest of the country a slight rise in maximum temperatures is expected. In the North, however, the high risk of frosts in the early hours of the morning persists.
