Vodafone Italia continues the extension of its 4G network in Italy: over 3500 municipalities, equal to 80% of the population, are now joined by the next generation network. The TLC also expands the coverage of the 4G+ service, now available in over 150 municipalities throughout Italy.
The 4G+ service, launched by Vodafone last November, is based on LTE Advanced technology and allows both Consumer and Business Vodafone customers to double the performance of their connection and reach speeds of 225 Mbps. To date, therefore, over 1,2 million Vodafone Italia customers have subscribed to a 4G offer and can make full use of the capabilities of new generation smartphones and tablets, listening to streaming music, sharing large files or watching movies, TV shows or live sporting events in high definition, wherever they are.
