Vodafone is looking for 200 digital natives

Vodafone Italy launches “Care 4 Your Future”: the campaign for the job placement of 200 young apprentices in the Competence Centers of Milan, Bologna, Pisa, Padua and Catania.

The three-year apprenticeship programme, aimed at young school-leavers or university graduates between the ages of 18 and 29, aims to integrate the consolidated experience of current customer service experts with sensitivity towards the digital culture of young people.

The young apprentices will be placed in strategic work areas for the Vodafone Competence Centers such as digital and social care, the convergence between mobile and fixed connectivity and content and the world of integrated services for businesses. Constantly evolving areas that require ever more advanced and specialized skills. With the transformation of the methods of interaction with customers, the skills of the operators are also changing: just think that today 3 interactions out of 4 of the 70 million monthly interactions with customers take place through digital channels, with about half of these coming from Apps My Vodafone and from m-site and 840 thousand from social channels.

Vodafone, which provides a total of over 62.000 training days every year, will ensure young people continuous and professional training, with particular attention to the development of digital and sales skills and, in general, to improving the customer experience. This is one way to anticipate customer needs and market evolution.

Vodafone has approx 7.000 employees in Italy, of which 2.500 operate in the world of customer assistance in 8 Competence Centers throughout the country.

"Care 4 Your Future" is part of the broader framework of the 'We CARE' initiative, the program launched in October 2015 which intends to strengthen and enhance the relationship of trust with customers, through a series of concrete actions - such as the Satisfied o Reimbursed on the 4G network and on Digital Services o days of free navigation - in the areas of connectivity, transparency, recognition of loyalty, and accessibility of the service.

With "Care 4 Your Future", Vodafone has created a further program dedicated to young people, in addition to the "Vodafone Internship Program", the initiative which provides for the annual placement of about 80 students in the company, and the "Vodafone Discover Program", for the recruitment and hiring of 100 young graduates in Vodafone's most strategic areas.
