Vodafone launches fiber optic plan in 27 Italian cities

Vodafone brings its fiber optic offer to 27 Italian cities. Customers will be able to browse at 30 Mbps in download and 3 Mbps in upload. The first cities where Vodafone's ultra-broadband offer will be available are: Ancona, Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Brescia, Brindisi, Catania, Catanzaro, Como, Florence, Forlì, Genoa, Monza, Naples, Padua, Palermo, Pescara, Pisa, Reggio Emilia, Rome, Taranto, Turin, Treviso, Varese, Venice, Verona, Vicenza.

In parallel, Vodafone's commitment continues for the development of optical fiber up to the customer's home, with the activation of the service in a new area of ​​Milan. Thanks to the agreement recently signed with Metroweb, there are now over 45.000 residential units in Milan reached by fiber optics and coverage of the entire city is expected by 2016.
