VinoxRoma: five days of food, wine, cuisine and culture of excellence at EUR

Five evenings of food and wine excellence that have as a backdrop the Garden of the Waterfalls of the Laghetto dell'Eur in Rome.  From today to Saturday 17 July, visitors will be able to enjoy the charm of an evening under the stars and with the stars. There are many stars of the food and wine world who fill the rich calendar of the initiative organized by Excellence in collaboration with Eur Spa. Important chefs, producers of excellence, personalities from other sectors who will form a program capable of satisfying both enthusiasts and the simply curious.

“We have tried to build a somewhat different format – explains Pietro Ciccotti, founder of Excellence – capable of combining different aspects. The central theme remains that of sustainability, with the development objectives announced by the United Nations in the forefront. And then space for great chefs, with the possibility for the public to taste extraordinary dishes and try them with the wines present at the event, for high-quality pairings but with a price that is also accessible to young people who remain our precise reference target".

“Il quality Italian wine and culinary talent – underlines Antonio Rosati, CEO of Eur Spa, the company that owns the Giardino delle Cascate – they will be a very important driver of the post-pandemic economic recovery, which, within the framework of the beauty economy that we are supporting in Eur, can become a significant growth factor for tourism and hospitality in the city. It is for us the first edition, in which we believe very much. Especially as attention towards young people to spread the culture of responsible and fun drinking".

Different thematic areas, for a path that winds from the market, where companies offer visitors their products, to the Bibenda Tasting Area, space that sees the FIS (Italian Sommelier Federation) will tell the wines, cellars and territories of the peninsula.

There is no shortage of cooking shows, which offer the opportunity to try the perfect match between the dishes prepared by a group of great chefs and the labels present at the initiative. Do not miss a visit to WineXAbility, with Maestro Massimo D'Addezio, in collaboration with "Drinkable-berebeneovunque", to give magical mingling between wine and mixed drink.

While the Green Arena will tell, thanks to "Agri-culture", the exhibition curated by Isabella Perugini, the value of wine understood as an expression of culture with interventions by personalities of the caliber of Oscar Farinetti, Edoardo Bennato and many others. And finally great anticipation for “The Restaurants of the Territory”, catwalk of taste which every evening, in rotation, will involve two restaurants and a pizzeria representing Rome and Lazio.
