Vino X Roma: from 12 to 14 July institutions, chefs and sommeliers for a sustainable relationship with the territory

More than an event, it is an innovative process of approaching the territory with its many themes, agro-food and wine production, socio-cultural relations, infrastructures, landscape components, methods of representation and governance. It presents itself with an articulated and complex program "WINE FOR ROME”, the event to be held at Rome from Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 July involving a wide range of protagonists at different levels: institutional figures, entrepreneurs and those who work every day in the field of the Lazio Region, the capital and even nationally to implement different types of cooperation where the agri-food sector, among the Italian supply chains, has the better competitive positioning such as the wine sector.

Three interesting Tourism Village Talk Show are on the calendar for insiders who wish to explore topics such as: the True wine culture with “Here we get serious! an opportunity for our city to communicate food and wine culture” with Franco Maria Ricci, President of the Italian Sommelier Foundation and Claudio Pica, President of Fiepet-Confesercenti of Rome and Lazio; the "Food Policy - a participatory plan for Rome Capital" with Sabrina Alfonsi, Councilor for agriculture, environment and waste cycle of the Municipality of Rome, Mario Ciarla, President of Arsial - Regional Agency for Development and Innovation of Lazio and Damiano Pucci, Councilor of the Metropolitan City of Rome; and "The Rome Brand for the development of the local food and wine sector" with Antonio Rosati, General Manager of Capitale Lavoro SpA, Marta Leonori Lazio Region Councilor and member of the Culture, Entertainment, Sport and Tourism Commission, Hon. Antonella Melito, Capitoline Councilor and Vice President of the Roma Capitale and Urban Planning commissions, Cristina Bowerman, one Michelin star chef of Glass Hostaria, member of the technical-scientific committee supporting ARSIAL Lazio Region and Simone Cozzi, Founder and CEO of HQF.

From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 July 2022 "VINO X ROMA" therefore opens to all enthusiasts, with a busy program of tastings, debates, masterclasses and cooking shows, from 19.00 to 02,00.

For this second edition, Excellence wanted to “build” the event as “a process of re-generation of our territory through an activity, which can be considered a food and wine event, within an important urban and infrastructural recovery project, a happy island that allows the community to re-appropriate and re-experience the spaces, with obvious improvements of the quality of life and of the social, economic and environmental sphere"

Vino X Roma 2022: the excellence of the territory protagonists of environmental sustainability

The main and recurring theme for the Roman event is the protection of "environmental sustainability" making the excellence of the territory protagonists and, in particular, the wine "actor" of the large schedule of "Vino X Roma" divided into 4 thematic areas: Tasting Area with the stands of wine & food companies where you can taste the various products; Bibenda Green Arena – where in addition to the program of 6 tastings organized by the Italian Sommelier Foundation, various talk shows with current topics will be staged. We will talk about Craft Spirits, the trends of Mixology second bartender and producers with Prof. Giuseppe Perretti, Associate Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences University of Perugia; Emanuele Broccatelli Bar manager Whotel; Simone Neri, Artisan Black Liqueurs; Antonio Galatà, President of the National Association of Kitchen Nutritionists; Amedeo Squillace, Sole Director of Being Pharma srl.

And then pairings between wine and recipes elaborated by many emerging young chefs “Under 30” from Rome and Lazio: 12 Cooking Shows with Pierpaolo Presta of the Aroma Restaurant, the Pipero Brigade of Rome, Dario Nuti of Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Eugenio Santangelo of Ercoli Parioli, Daniele Saggio / Yoel Sajimon Thomas of Madalaine Rome, Luca Giovanrosa of Latta- Bistrot Bio, Francesco Lisa of Giulia Restaurant and many others.
