Involved 17 restaurants throughout Italy to meet winemakers capable of transmitting their territories of origin, to tell the wines produced with respect for the environment and sustainability. New this year events also in Spain and Slovenia

After two canceled editions, "ViniVeri Restaurants 2021" returns to the scene, putting the pandemic behind it, the great event of winemakers involving various restaurants throughout Italy with the novelty that this year the events will also extend to Slovenia and Spain dinners and tastings of the new vintages.

ViniVeri, a meeting place for small winemakers capable of transmitting their territories of origin, of telling the wines produced with respect for the environment and sustainability, involves 77 winemakers and 18 restaurants scattered throughout the peninsula, from South Tyrol to Sicily, to share the wines, the production approach, the essence of the different territories and the many personal stories marked by months of isolation.."Many regional and cross-border appointments where to revive - says Paolo Vodopivec, president of the ViniVeri Consortium - the atmosphere and spirit, of sharing stories and experiences, which has animated our annual event in Cerea for 17 years. But above all an extraordinarily different event which is both a tribute to those who have always been close to us and our way of supporting the many restaurateurs who have fought to keep the doors of their premises open during the emergency".

The program of the event is intense. Many regions involved in the initiative where it will be possible to taste the new bottles of the winemakers of the Consortium: on Monday 28 June in Piedmont, for example, in the Locanda Fontanazza in La Morra (CN), the companies Rinaldi, Altura, Vanempo-Poggio di Cicignano, Raìca and Laiolo; in Friuli Venezia Giulia, at La Subida di Cormons (GO), there will be de Fermo, Rivella and Cantina Ninni. While in Trentino Alto Adige, at Cocun Cellar Restaurant in San Cassiano (BZ) you will find the wines of La Castellada, Angol D'Amig and Cascina delle Rose; in Lombardy, at the Hosteria del Vapore in Corobbio degli Angeli (BG), there will be Ezio Cerruti, Il Pendio, La Costa and Pialli.

Also in northern Italy, in Emilia Romagna, the winemakers of Ronco Severo, Colombera & Garella and Podere Cipolla will be present at the Trattoria San Giovanni in Piacenza, while Liguria will see the participation, at the Trattoria La Brinca in Ne (GE), of Princic, Selvadolce, Trinchero and Carolina Gatti.

Veneto will host two appointments in the province of Treviso: the first, on Monday 28 June, at the Cantina Mediterraneo in Badoere di Morgano, with Casa Coste Piane, Zidarich, Podere Giardino and Ca' dei Zago; while the second will be held on Tuesday 29 June at the Trattoria Dalla Libera in Sernaglia della Battaglia with Casa Coste Piane, Skerlj, Klinec and Podere Luisa.

Also on Monday 28 June, moving to central Italy, in Rome at the La Ciambella restaurant, a dinner with the participation of Vodopivec, La Visciola, Raìna and San Giovenale, while in the Marche, at the Cantina Antisociale of Petritoli (FM), Oasi degli Angeli, Pierini and Brugi, Allevi Maria Letizia. In Umbria, at the Stella Vineria restaurant in Perugia, you can taste the wines of Paolo Bea, Milana and Podere Ortica. Furthermore, the special guest of the evening was the Gravner Company. In the province of L'Aquila, at the Trattoria De Li Caldora in Pacentro (AQ), Praesidium, Valter Mattoni, Carlo Noro and Aldo Di Giacomi will be present. The appointment in Tuscany will instead take place on Tuesday 29 June at the Io Cucino restaurant in Bibbona (LI), with Carla Simonetti, Terraquilia, Il Vecchio Poggio, Antoniotti and I Mandorli.

We return to Monday 28 June for the remaining appointments: for the South, in Puglia at the Osteria Botteghe Antiche in Putignano (BA), with the participation of Carla Simonetti, Francesco Marra, Francesco Massetti and Colombaia; in Campania, at the Gran Gusto restaurant in Naples, which will host the wines of Boccella, Casebianche and Don Quixote-Zampaglione.

A second appointment will take place in Puglia on Tuesday 29 June at Verna Carni & Gastronomia in Casamassima (BA) with a tasting of some wines from the producers of the ViniVeri Consortium.

Sicily will see two separate appointments on Monday 28 June: at the Carmelo Chiaramonte Restaurant in Donnalucata – Scicli (RG) with the wines of Salvatore Ferrandes, Fattoria Romeo del Castello and Grottafumata; while the Osteria Il Moro in Trapani will host Il Censo, Viteadovest, Aldo Viola and Azienda Di Salvo. Finally, Sardinia, which at the Josto restaurant in Cagliari will see the participation of Panevino, Eugenio Bocchino and Raìca.

The two international appointments will take place on Monday 28 June, again in the presence of the winemakers of the Viniveri Consortium, in Slovenia, at Vila Podvin in Radovljica, with Mlečnik, Slavček, Aci Urbajs and in Spain at the Platea N° 5 Restaurant in Madrid with as many as 7 producers: Vinos Patio, Bodega F. Schatz, Esenzia Rural, Bodegas La Senda, Viñedos Hontza, Bodega Viña Enebro, Bodegas Coruña del Conde.
