Rosé wines: Bererosa 2020 doubles between real and virtual

Appointment on July 2 for fans of still wines and pink bubbles. There will be a limited number of wine tastings and at the same time a virtual guide for pink drink lovers

Rosé wines: Bererosa 2020 doubles between real and virtual

The 2020 edition of BereRosa, the event dedicated to the world of en rose, still and sparkling wines for almost ten years, will have a double role, an obligatory appointment to get to know all the main news of the year. The appointment is for July 2 at the Radisson Blu Es. Hotel in Rome.

"We didn't want to disappoint the expectations of the producers and the public - comments Francesco D'Agostino, Director of Cucin&Vini who organizes the event - and therefore we thought of a double formula which, while fully complying with current legislation, would still allow us to stage our date. Let's say, paraphrasing an old quiz game, that between quitting and redoubling, we have chosen the second option”.

And so on the one hand a regular wine tasting will be held, in compliance with the rules of social distancing, organized in a limited number both for companies and for the public. In the spaces of the Ex. Hotel tables and seats will be set up, obviously placed at a safe distance and with tablecloths renewed for each tasting session.

Guests will then be able to taste 30 labels (accompanied by a selection of cured meats and cheeses), each of which will be presented by journalists from C&V magazine, all for a duration of around two hours. A maximum of 40 people are allowed to participate in each shift. Entry with a mask is mandatory

At the same time, a "virtual" event will be held, with a real guide to the companies' pink wines. A useful vademecum for pink drink enthusiasts, with a tasting story, a short presentation video by the wineries themselves and, a fundamental detail for the public, the possibility of purchasing their favorite labels by connecting to the companies' e-shop wineries or with commercial platforms from these choices.

“One of the few positive aspects of this terrible period – concludes D'Agostino – lies precisely in the habit acquired by the population of using all the opportunities offered by the web. With this double channel, real and virtual, we wanted to keep our habits intact and, at the same time, tried to keep alive the relationship between the various players in this sector: the world of production, operators and consumers. Obviously with the hope, in a year, of being able to raise our glasses again, looking into each other's eyes".
