The Italian bad bank project has not yet found a solution. This was stated by the European Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager, who is visiting Rome these days.
Vestager did not comment on the possible green light for the project bad banks, a topic of discussion between Rome and Brussels for months: "We have not yet reached the conclusion, perhaps tomorrow there will be a technical meeting, I will be in Rome anyway and it is very important to have a bilateral dialogue with the Member States".
