Vera Financial, a company of the Cattolica Assicurazioni group, e Bpm bank have today launched an environmental awareness campaign called “One policy, one tree”. The aim is to contribute some of the woodland destroyed following the storm boo, which hit Trentino on 29 October 2018.
Going into details, Vera Financial will carry out a donation for the planting and growth of a tree for each “Sustainable Future 2.0” policy taken out until 31 December 2021 by Banco Bpm customers. Each donation will support the reforestation of a forest area thanks to the partnership signed with the Trentino Tree Agreement, an ecological awareness project conceived by the Autonomous Province of Trento, Trentino Marketing, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Soil Protection, the Provincial Agency of State Forests and the Museum of MUSE sciences, born following the storm Vaia.
The campaign «One policy, one tree» aims to pursue two of the 17 Goals of the 2030 Agenda, defined by the UN: Objective 15 "Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of the earth's ecosystem" and Objective 13 "Promote actions, at all levels, to combat climate change".
