Train strike and Atac on Friday: here are the timetables

The transport strike on Friday 25 November mainly concerns trains and will involve all of Italy, including Trenitalia (but not the Frecce, which travel regularly) and Italo, as well as Trenord: the agitation was proclaimed by the CUB Trasporti, SGB unions Basic General Syndicate, USB Private Work Transport and the CAT Self-organized Transport Coordination. On strike the staff of Fs, Trenord and Ntv will therefore be able to join: the scheduled timetable is from midnight on Thursday 24 November until 21 pm on Friday 25 and may cause delays, changes or cancellations of regional, suburban and long-distance trains. During the strike, however, they are foreseen two guarantee bands between 6 and 9 in the morning and between 18 and 21.

In addition to that of rail transport there will also be a strike by Atac, the company that manages public transport in Rome. The strike will last 24 hours and was proclaimed by the territorial secretariat of Cambia-Menti M410 on the entire ATAC network: buses, trolleybuses, trams, subways and regional railways Rome-Viterbo, Rome-Lido and Termini-Centocelle. There are expected guarantee slots throughout the network from the start of service (including the night bus service on the night of 24/25 November) to 8.30 and from 17 to 20. Outside these times and until 5 am on Saturday 26 November, public transport may be canceled or delayed. In the night between 25 and 26 November, therefore, the journeys of the A and B lines of the underground, the journeys of the bus and tram lines 8, 115, 913 and the journeys of the night bus lines (from N1 to N28) will not be guaranteed.

In addition to the 24-hour train strike and public transport strike in Rome, on November 25 there will also be other minor strikes which could, however, still cause a lot of inconvenience. Slai Cobas has called a general strike of all private, public and cooperative working sectors throughout the day. The strike has been called on the occasion of the international day against violence against women and, as specified in a note from the MIUR, it could also involve school workers. The same note also states that USI, the Italian trade union union, will participate in the strike. Furthermore, the Cub transport union has called a strike for the workers of the Alitalia-Sai group from 13 to 17 pm on Friday 25 November and some flights could therefore be subject to cancellations or delays: here you can check which flights will operate regularly.
