The US super-index rebounds in May, recording an excellent +0,8% in May. Analysts had expected a 0,3% increase. In April, the indicator had recorded a loss of 0,4%.
The positive signs of eight out of ten items in the basket helped to raise the index, especially the spreads on interest rates and the prospects for consumption.
Despite this, the Conference Board forecasts an economy characterized by instability in the second half of the year.
