Good news from the industry United States. According to the Federal Reserve survey, September production grew by 0,6%, more than the 0,4% expected by analysts. The increase returned to the average levels of 2007 for the first time.
It was above all what made an impact the 4,4% jump recorded in the utility sector, which reversed the weakening of the manufacturing sector (+0,1%). Capacity utilization of the plants increased by 0,4% from the previous month, to 78,3%, again more than the 78% expected by experts.
As for the automotive sector, production increased by 2% on the month and by 11,3% on the year. The defense and space sector recorded an increase of 0,4%, while the mining sector recorded an increase of 0,2% (+6,6% compared to last year).
