US GDP growth revised downwards. In the third quarter of the year, the stars and stripes gross domestic product was in fact revised to 1,8% from the 2% of the second preliminary estimate a month ago.

The figure, disclosed by the Department of Commerce, is slightly worse than analysts' expectations who expected a confirmation of growth at 2%. Even with the downward revision, the growth recorded in the third quarter is the largest since the beginning of the year.

It should be noted that in the period le consumer spending increased by 1,7% instead of 2,3% as previously indicated thirty days ago, while weekly requests for unemployment benefits. The data in this case is better than the expectations of analysts, who had expected 380 requests for compensation.
