“Our project to bring ECB funds to customers is going very well, with over 800 million already disbursed". She revealed it to the Radiocor agency Robert Nicastro, general manager of Unicredit, on the sidelines of a conference at the University of Bologna. 

Nicastro also confirmed that the requests presented to the Bank exceeded 3 billion. On 18 September Unicredit participated in the first Tlter auction of the ECB obtaining 7,75 billion to be disbursed exclusively in Italy. 

As for the geographical origin of the credit requests, Nicastro underlined that "the North East, including Emilia Romagna, and Lombardy are the parts of Italy that are asking for the most".

Meanwhile today, just over an hour after closing, the Unicredit stock on the Stock Exchange gains half a percentage point, a 5,865 euro.
