Zagrebacka Banka, the largest Croatian bank, has concluded an agreement with Aps Delta (controlled by the Czech Aps Holding) for the sale of non-performing loans to corporate and retail customers. This was communicated by Unicredit, which controls the institute listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, specifying that the portfolio has a gross value of around 450 million euros.
The transfer of the portfolio, reads the note, "constitutes part of Unicredit's current strategy for the reduction of non-performing exposures". The impact on the income statement will be included in the Unicredit financial statements in the second quarter of 2017.
The agreement was signed with the green light from the Croatian Central Bank, which verified compliance with the conditions necessary for this type of operation.
