Unicredit sells a 28 million Npl portfolio in Hungary

Unicredit, through its subsidiary Unicredit Bank Hungary concluded a agreement with Eos Faktor Zrl, a Hungarian financial company, for the sale without recourse of a portfolio of residential mortgages, unsecured loans and overdrafts.

"The portfolio - explains Unicredit in a note - exclusively concerns loans deriving from loan agreements governed by Hungarian law". The amount of the transaction, gross of value adjustments, amounts to 28 million euros.

To this agreement, we add anothera three-year agreement between UniCredit Bank Hungary and Eos Faktor Zrt che provides for the sale of new flows of NPLs in the residential mortgage segment, unsecured consumer credit, default SME credits and account overdrafts. The impact will be included in the Unicredit financial statements for the second quarter of 2019.

A Business Square, after yesterday's exploit when it gained 2,61% thanks also to the fact that S&P raised its outlook from "negative" to "stable", in today's session Unicredit shares dropped by 0,49% to 11,678 euros .
