Unicredit has signed an agreement with Bank Pekao for the sale of the stakes held in Pioneer Pekao Investment Management SA, Pekao Pioneer PTE SA and Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion. Following this operation, which was announced to the market on December 8th, Bank Pekao SA will hold the entire share capital of the aforementioned companies.
The price agreed for the sale is equal to 142 million in all. Completion of the transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected in the second half of 2017, completing the process of divestment of the Polish assets announced as part of the Transform 2019 plan.
