A wall 4 meters high and 175 kilometers long located on the border with the Serbia to block the flow of illegal immigrants. The arrival was announced this morning by the Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, who defined "immigration as one of the most serious problems facing the European Union today".  

L'Hungary it cannot wait for the EU countries to find a shared solution and has decided to solve the problem on its own. Last week he was Prime Minister Viktor Orban to announce the intention to close the border with Serbia to stop the arrival of thousands of migrants and asylum seekers who land in Budapest every year.

In fact, in 2014, Hungary welcomed more than 43 refugees, while in the first months of the current year, there are already 60 attempts to cross the Hungarian borders illegally. Numbers that represent an exponential growth compared to 2012, when the immigrants welcomed were "only" 2.000. Most of them pass right through the border with Serbia.

The Premier also declared that «This decision does not violate any international treaty» – Hungary is part of the Schengen area – «Of all the countries of the European Union – he highlighted – Hungary is the one that undergoes the strongest pressure migratory. A joint EU response to this challenge takes too long and Hungary can wait no longer. He has to act."
