An app to record a collision right away at car insurance

It seems to be the first time in the world: it will be possible, with an app developed in Thailand, to communicate the details of the accident to the car insurance company 'on the spot', within 15 minutes of the unfortunate event. You save phone calls, letters, disputes… This app, 'Claim Di', already works with five major insurance companies in Thailand. Kittinan Anuphan, CEO of start-up “Anywhere 2 Go”, says the new app has attracted interest from more than one venture capital firm (“500 Startups”, “Golden Gate Ventures” and other investors from Hong Kong, Malaysia and Japan), who intend to promote 'Claim Di' in the global market. The US-based “500 Startups” has invested in 800 companies in 40 countries, and its manager, Khailee Ng, says Thailand has made great progress lately: “Every month there's something new. The difference is made by the support of the telecommunications companies, and by the large number of Thais with international experience”. The 'Claim Di' app is already available in the App Store and Google Play. It makes use of cameras, GPS, Cloud computing, social media and Big Data.
