A web forum for disgruntled (or happy) employees

There are more and more sites where employees can let off steam, for better or for worse, commenting on the pros and cons (usually the cons) of the company they work for – In America there is Glassdoor, in Australia the NakedOffice site, which already has a considerable following – When will a similar initiative be launched in Italy?

How is the work environment in company X? The impressions can concern both the quality of the company canteen and the relations with the head of the office and the attentions of the management. Until now, complaints – or perhaps praise and appreciation – were found only occasionally in personal or public anecdotes. But now there are dedicated websites where, anonymously, employees can let off steam, for better or for worse, commenting on the pros and cons (usually the 'cons') of the company they work for. In America there is 'Glassdoor', in Australia the site 'NakedOffice' has just been launched, which already has a considerable following, and its founder also wants to launch it in New Zealand and Great Britain.

Just as travel sites have been collecting opinions on hotels and restaurants for years, why not also collect opinions on the companies in which you work? After all, much more time is spent there than travelling. Of course, there is the potential to spread poison and slander, but there is also the space for the accused to respond. Overall, it is a useful tool for transparency and information dissemination. When will something similar also for Italy, perhaps extending it to citizens' experiences with regard to public services?
