Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet on August 26 in Minsk with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and EU delegates as part of a new diplomatic attempt to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. A spokesman for the Ukrainian presidency said that the head of diplomacy, Catherine Ashton, will represent the EU.
