Dmt-Mediaset negotiation, perhaps in difficulty

What happens to the negotiations between Dmt and the subsidiary of Mediaset, Elettronica Industriale, for the creation of a hub of broadcasting and telephony towers? According to press sources this morning, the Cologno Monzese group, in full negotiation, would begin to have some perplexities due to some corporate operations in Dmt, which should be investigated. The Dmt, however, has just confirmed that the negotiations are going ahead.
The negotiations, as already decided on June 30th, will continue until the maximum deadline of the 28th of Luilio, an extension decided on that occasion which, in any case, had already led one to suppose some difficulties. The resistance would also come from minority shareholders of Dmt. The agreement would allow Mediaset to become the Italian leader in the tower segment. The outlook is judged positive for the group by industry analysts. But the latest rumors are having a negative influence on the Mediaset stock today, which lost 2,95% in Piazza Affari around 13:00. Even the fact that the Finivest-saving rule was skipped by the Finance Law is probably having negative repercussions on the performance of the share.
