The "TIM 5G Inside Out" project developed by TIM in collaboration with Talent Garden has kicked off in Turin with the aim of raising market awareness of the opportunities of 5G in Italy and creating a community that operates in key sectors of technological innovation : Industry 4.0, Mobility and Smart City, Infrastructure and Logistics, Entertainment and Tourism. The Turin stage developed around the theme of the synergy between 5G and Industry 4.0 and saw the active participation of Comau. After this first meeting, the "TIM 5G Inside Out" project will stop in Milan, Naples and Rome to address other important issues related to technological innovation in a 5G key.
During the meetings, the participants have the task of developing ideas and concepts indicated by industry experts supported by a team of people who are also passionate about technology: innovators, startuppers, creatives, designers, etc. At the end of the day, some concepts of innovative products and services based on 5G technology are developed in various fields, using methodologies inspired by Design Thinking. The results of the group's work are presented to a jury of experts who choose the winner.
The winners of the four stages will access the final selection phase scheduled for December, where the best team will win the opportunity to spend two days in Madrid to participate in the Singularity U Spain Summit.
Each relaunch event will be preceded by a Think Tank session on the impact of 5G on that specific field. The meeting includes a discussion group moderated by the team of experts to bring out innovative ideas and concepts enabled by 5G technology and related to the Industry 4.0 sector.
