TIM and Huawei Technologies Italia, on the occasion of the Mobile World Congress, today confirm their partnership to promote digital transformation with the signing of a wide-ranging cooperation agreement in the field of Business Innovation.
The partnership aims to exploit the most innovative solutions and business models based on the vertical sectors of the Internet of Things (IoT), including smart metering, Industry 4.0, smart city, smart agriculture, and more. A first step of this cooperation is the joint opening of a new experience center in Italy to test and develop innovative IoT solutions.
The agreement will develop according to the following dominant trends:
- Share experiences and provide common recommendations to accelerate commercialization in specific IoT verticals
- jointly define successful IoT use models and design business models
- promote joint marketing activities within a specific TIM experience center in Italy for the IoT
- support the TIM ecosystem for start-ups, including through the TIM #WCAP initiative
