Stock exchanges fly, rain of purchases on BTPs

European equities rallied for the third day in a row on optimism around US-China trade talks and the latest Brexit moves. Leading the rise is Frankfurt +1,7%, the most sensitive to the trend of duties, which celebrates the best session for seven weeks. In great evidence Temple Size + 7,8%.  

Business Square (+0,86%) again nearly 22 thousand points. Well too Paris +1,2%, despite the crash of the group Publicis -11,3%, and Madrid +0,7%. Salt too London +0,4%: The change euro-pound drops below 0,88, yesterday evening it fell sharply by 1,6%, putting in the best session of the year. European Council President Donald Tusk said the latest round of Brexit talks did not imply a guarantee of success and that time was "practically up", although even the slightest chance should be used to try and secure an agreement before the October 31st.

Safe-haven assets are stabilising, the subject of some profit-taking yesterday. The yield on the 0,47-year German Bund is stuck at -XNUMX%, on a three-week high. That of the thirty-year Bund has returned above the psychological threshold of "zero". 

Btp 10 years at 0,95%. The Treasury has allocated all 6,5 billion euros offered to investors in the Btp auctions at 3, 7, 20 and 30 years with yields slightly rising from the recent lows in the short-medium segment and falling in the long term, with the March 2040 bond rate at the new historical low of 1,78%. 

Salt on Petroleum Brent up for the third consecutive day, accelerating its gain by 2%, reaching over the threshold of 60 dollars a barrel. Tension on the border between Turkey and Syria is also growing due to theErdogan's aggression against the Kurds. Eni + 1% Saipem + 0,8%.

Piazza Affari is starting to end the week on a high note. Among the stocks in the main basket in the red are utilities held back by the rate hike: Enel -0,3% Snam -0,6%. It also goes down Prysmian -1%. Exane cut the rating from Outperform to Neutral.

The recovery instead involves all industrialists starting from Leonardo (+ 3,8%), Cnh Industrial (+ 2,78%) and stm + 4,07%. Brembo + 2% Fiat Chrysler + 2,26%.

Between the banks spotlight on Mediobanca +0,3%. Leonardo Del Vecchio intends to increase his stake in the capital beyond 10%, wrote the Financial Times citing sources familiar with the matter. Unicredit +2,4%, on rumors about the new business plan. Well B for Bank + 3,1%. 

Out of main basket:

  • Vola Tinexta + 5,7%.  Piaggio + 3%. Mondadori +2,7%, benefiting from yesterday's Buy indicated by Equita. 
  • Falck Renewables +5%, signed a joint development agreement with UK's Reg Windpower for around 200 Megawatts of solar and wind projects in the UK. 
  • In the aim They +5%, the leading manufacturer of semiconductor reliability testing and monitoring equipment, debuts in China. Gamenet +2%, the subsidiary GoldBet confirms itself as the leader in the Italian betting market in the September data.
