The yield of BTP at 5 yearsi hit a new all-time low. The bond maturing June 2021 was placed by the Treasury in a tranche of 2,5 billion, achieving a gross yield of 0,33% (down 7 basis points on the previous auction), only 1 basis point less than the previous one all-time low marked last March.
The yield of the is also down BTP at 10 years: assigned 2,5 billion against requests for 3,751 billion. The rate settled at 1,35%, down by 7 points compared to the May auction. The Treasury also issued 1,75 billion CcT: in this case the yield rose slightly (+4 basis points) to settle at 0,57%. The demand amounted to 2,745 billion.
