A new insurance policy arrives that protects family assets from damage caused by an earthquake. It was created by Genialloyd, a direct company of the Allianz Group.
"Let's rebuild together" - this is the name of the policy - provides capital to repair the material damage suffered by the home (including those from fire, explosion and explosion following the earthquake), regardless of whether it was built according to anti-seismic criteria . The sum can reach up to 70% of the insured capital.
The policy also guarantees the reimbursement of the costs of demolition, clearing, transport, disposal and treatment of the rubble. In cases of unavailability of the house, the reimbursement of hotel accommodation costs is guaranteed for a maximum period of three months. Finally, compensation is included for the costs of removal, transport, relocation and deposit with third parties of the goods contained in the premises of the damaged home.
In Italy, over 70% of the territory is a seismic zone and about 40% of the population lives with an earthquake risk.
