Ten months and 20 days for the governor of Emilia Romagna Vasco Erranthe. This is the request of the public prosecutor Antonella Scandellari, supported by the chief prosecutor of Bologna Roberto Alfonso. The accusation hanging over Errani's head is that of false ideology in the Terremerse investigation.
The governor presented himself somewhat surprisingly in court, sitting in the dock, while the judge of the preliminary hearing Bruno Giangiacomo accepted the request, motivated by Errani's lawyer with the need to arrive at a rapid sentence, of the shortened procedure.
In judgment, together with the president of the Region, also the managers Filomena Terzini and Valtiero Mazzoti, also accused of aiding and abetting. The Terremerse affair dates back to 2009, when the three defendants sent the prosecution a report affirming the correctness of the one million euro financing procedure in Terremerse, at the material time presided over by Vasco Errani's brother, Giovanni. The sentence is expected within a few hours.
