Terna: record investments in 2012, revenues +10%

Last year the Terna group achieved consolidated revenues of 1,8 billion euros, an increase of around 10% compared to 1,636 billion in 2011 – The Ebitda margin exceeded 76% for the first time, in growth compared to 75,2% last year.

Terna closes 2012 with investments record for 1,240 billion euro, up on the previous year. Furthermore, last year, the group that manages the national electricity grid scored revenues consolidated for 1,8 billion euro, an increase of approximately 10% compared to 1,636 billion in 2011. TheEbitda it stood at 1,380 billion, for an increase of 12% on the 2011 figure (1,230 billion). L'Ebitda margin topped 76% for the first time, up from last year's 75,2%.

“In line with the strategy of the Terna group – explains the company – it should be noted that in 2012 non-traditional activities generated an Ebitda of over 60 million euro”. As for thenet financial debt, grew to just under 5,900 billion, against 5,123 billion in 2011. An "increase mainly due to the growing dynamics of investments made", explains the company.

By mid-morning, Terna's stock on the Stock Exchange was up 0,1%. The group will shortly present the 2013-2017 strategic plan.
