Terna, the app is also in the English version

Terna's app that provides all the data on the electricity system is now also available in English. The news was communicated by the company that manages the national electricity grid and makes it available to all users every day a million data and graphs on demand,
generation and transmission of electricity
as well as foreign trade flows that can be consulted in real time, constantly and continuously updated. The contents are mainly aimed at technicians, specialists and a wide audience of stakeholders, such as analysts, administrators, institutions, associations, journalists and the academic world, but also ordinary citizens who want to browse or get more in-depth information.

For example, on very topical and delicate topics, such as sustainability, to which Terna's app dedicates a focus: in fact, in the section on the hourly generation of renewable sources, Terna's technicians are further enhancing the application with new charts and maps and, by collecting opinions and reviews on the stores, they are developing multimedia representations of the percentage of CO2 not emitted into the atmosphere precisely as a result of the diffusion of clean energy.

Thanks to the latest data quality techniques (guarantee of consistency and integrity of corporate data) and data visualization, Terna's APP confirms itself as a cutting-edge European technological tool: it is the most advanced device among network managers who have already developed similar contents. "This is how the group's commitment to ever greater transparency of information and strategic sharing of data and knowledge on the electricity system continues with institutions, companies and international associations to face the common challenge of energy transition", explains a note.

In this sense, in the last year, various Terna data sharing projects have followed one another on consolidated and operating data, such as those on the evolution of the electricity market since 2000 or on birdlife and the new Transparency digital platform from which also download all exercise data.
