Telecom Italia has successfully concluded the launch of a fixed-rate bond issue for 1 billion, intended for institutional investors. "The quality and amount of the order book - says an official note - once again confirm the favor of the international financial community for Telecom Italia credit and have made it possible to price the issue with a lower yield than initially indicated in the market, fixing the coupon at 3%, the lowest ever among non-convertible euro bonds issued by the Group”.
The yield of the issue, equal to 3,025%, results well below the average cost of debt of the Group, which stood at 2016% at the end of June 5,1. The issue is part of the process of optimizing and refinancing maturing debt.
