Telecom Italia: Tim's 4G services reach another 84 Italian municipalities, now the number rises to 384

TIM's 'Ultrabroadband' is available from today in another 84 new municipalities including Salerno, La Spezia,
Asti, Marsala and Torre del Greco. Thus the number of Italian municipalities already reached by the service rises to 384, for
an outdoor coverage of over 41% of the population nationwide, which will reach over 60%
by 2015.

Telecom Italia expands mobile ultra-broadband across Italy, bringing to 384 the number of municipalities where the new TIM services are already available on the LTE network and thus achieves outdoor coverage of over 41% of the population nationwide, with the aim of reach over 60% by 2015.

From today the "ULTRA Internet 4G" services, characterized by a data transmission speed of up to 100 Mbit/s in download and up to 50 Mbit/s in upload, are available in another 84 new municipalities including Salerno, La Spezia, Asti, Marsala and Torre del Greco, which add to the list of 300 locations already covered previously.

The goal is to offer an ever-growing number of TIM customers, who use keys, modems, smartphones and tablets, better performance and service levels for Internet browsing, allowing them to use innovative content on the move, such as HD video streaming .

The "ULTRA Internet 4G" commercial offer, available to both consumer customers and the business segment, is characterized by higher service levels and data traffic bundles than 3G standards.
