Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting 14 Italian high-tech companies in Guangdong, China's Silicon Valley. The goal of the project, dubbed "Greater Bay Area Innovation Road," is to help the companies internationalize and further innovate, all to "strengthen the link between the excellence of Made in Italy and the Chinese business world," according to a statement.
The initiative is promoted by the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and its Innovation Center, with the patronage of major Italian and Chinese institutions present in the region and partners such as Deloitte, Gop, and Link4Success.
The Italian delegation, composed of 14 Italian technology companies operating in various sectors, from biotech to artificial intelligence, from components to semiconductors, is scheduled to hold closed meetings between Hong Kong and Shenzhen with 81 Chinese counterparts and local government institutions.
The delegation was selected at the end of a roadshow, which concluded last November, at the main branches of the group's Banca dei Territori division, attended by nearly two hundred entrepreneurs and institutions.
