Sounds of the Dolomites: the high-altitude music festival is back

Contact with nature and above all contact between art and nature. The combination is fashionable on the days when you visit and celebrate The Floating Piers, the walkway on Lake Iseo created by the Bulgarian artist Christo, and on Saturday 2 July a fixed appointment returns, again in Northern Italy but this time at high altitudes: the 23rd edition of the "Sounds of the Dolomites", an event that will give music between the peaks and valleys of Trentino until 26 August.

The event takes place throughout Trentino, in the extraordinary stage of the Dolomites, to come reached every time on foot by the public and by the musicians themselves with their own instruments: the concert program ranges from classical music to jazz to world music and songwriting.

The 19 appointments of "The Sounds of the Dolomites" (here is the complete program) it takes place in the early afternoon, but also at dawn, near alpine refuges: peaks, huts and woods are reached on foot together by the public and by the musicians themselves. Once you reach the top, after everyone has shared the effort and joy of the destination, you sit down and rest on the grass, around the musicians, waiting to listen, to live an unrepeatable artistic and human experience. Art and nature that blend, in fact, and no barrier between who listens, who plays and the landscape that surrounds and welcomes everyone, including music.
