They finally made it. After more than four months of searches, the special police forces arrested Salah Abdeslam in Molenbeek (Brussels), the main wanted person for the Paris attacks of 13 November.
The terrorist had taken refuge, together with an accomplice, in a house on Rue des Quatre vents in the neighborhood where he has always lived. During the maxi-police operation Abdslam and his accomplice were reportedly injured.
Moments of tension in Molenbeek which was completely surrounded by agents. Residents heard about ten shots. There is also a school in the area and the children were stuck in the classrooms. Passers-by in the street heard the special forces shouting 'get out and surrender' on a megaphone.
