Starbucks brings Princi bakery to the US

Starbucks exports Princi baked goods to the United States by opening the Italian brand's first bakery and café in Seattle's Starbucks Reserve Roastery.

Princi's arrival aims to improve the "sensorial experience" offered by the Roastery since 2014, thanks to an offer of fresh Italian baked goods, made according to Rocco Princi's original recipes. Calabrian by birth, he opened the first of his own shops in Milan in 1986, which became six together with the one in the Soho district of London.

Princi will also be the exclusive food distributor of all the new Starbucks Reserve Roasteries that will open in the coming years: from Shanghai, which will debut in December 2017, to Milan (expected opening at the end of 2018), but also in New York, Tokyo and Chicago. In addition, the American giant, in the light of the joint venture with Princi, directed by Angel Capital Management, an investment company founded by Angelo Moratti, is planning the opening of Princi mono-brand stores starting from 2018.
