Spesometro 2017: extension to 28 September

The third extension of the year arrives, but this time it is shorter than expected: just 10 more days to send the invoices issued and received to the tax authorities – the accountants are dissatisfied.

Another extension for the 2017 spending meter. The third. After the rumors circulated in recent days, the official announcement arrives today with a note from the Ministry of the Economy. The deadline for sending the VAT invoices issued and received in the first half of 2017 to the Revenue Agency has been postponed from 18 to 28 September. A Thursday.

The extension is therefore just 10 days, much less than desired by accountants. At the end of July Massimo Miani, president of the National Council of Accountants, had said that a possible postponement of the deadline for the spesometer to 2 October (until now that seemed the most plausible date) would not have been sufficient.

The reason? Several accountants are currently receiving updated software to manage the 2017 expense meter and would like at least 60 days from the date of receipt of the program to complete the work.
