The Spanish Treasury today placed about three government bonds for 3,9 billion, just above half of the offer range of 3,25-4,25 billion euros. The average yield on 2017 bonds was 4,782%. The last auction dates back to 2009.
The bond maturing in 2019 was placed at a yield of 5,11% against the 4,969% of the auction last 15
September. On the 2021 ten-year benchmark it was 5,433% from 5,896% at the auction last July 21st.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 1,8 on the 2017 bond, 2,1 on the 2019 maturity from 2,2, and 1,8 on the 2021 bond from 1,9
of July.
