Snam has signed an agreement with Seat, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen group, aimed at accelerating the use of natural gas (Cng) and renewable gas (biomethane), thus promoting the development of sustainable mobility and research and development projects In this compound.

Thanks to this partnership, the company led by Marco Alverà will therefore be able to explore business development opportunities and initiatives aimed at retailers, commercial customers and motorists to promote the natural gas filling station system, as well as collaborate in the development of services of mobility.

Snam and Seat will also be able to extend the agreement to other brands of the Volkswagen group, also for initiatives aimed at the technological development of biomethane. The two companies will share strategic markets such as Italy, France and Austria, realizing synergies aimed at boosting CNG and bio-CNG as cleaner and more convenient alternatives to traditional fuels.
